Sultan of Oman visits KSA


Muscat, Saudi Arabia: July 12, 2021- (TDI): The Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said is on his first international tour to Saudi Arabia since last year after he resumed his power. It will be a two-day official visit. He was welcomed at the Neom Airport by Saudi Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The topics under discussion during this meeting were the Yemen war, and the economic and investment cooperation to increase its finances and to enhance up bilateral relations as well. The Sultan of Oman has, furthermore, also joined the United Nations efforts for creating a peace agreement in Yemen. Saudi Arabia is a critical economic partner to Oman. Both the leaders watched together the 2020 Euro Championship final between England and Italy at Neom as well.

Oman’s Sultan visit to Saudi Arabia marks the mutual interest of both states.  The visit of the Prince of Oman to KSA marks the great historical ties, depth of bonds, and fraternal ties between both the states.
