The energy produced through hydropower depends on the water cycle, which is driven by the sun. That’s what makes it renewable. Hydropower is a clean source of energy because it is fueled by water.
As it happens, the world is in dire need of clean energy, what with the looming threat of climate change. Moreover, Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries with respect to the adverse impact of climate change.
