Sri Lanka receives Covid-19 Medical Equipment from Singapore

Colombo, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Sri Lanka High Commission in Singapore in collaboration with the Religious Advisor of the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society of Singapore, Gunaratana Thero received donations of medical equipment for Covid-19 from Henry Baey and a group of Singaporean officials.

The donation included 250 oxygen concentrators. Furthermore, Raquel Ruhie Takahashi also donated 20 oxygen concentrators. A ceremony was arranged at the Foreign Ministry in Colombo to hand over the Singaporean contribution.

Foreign Secretary, Jayanath Colombage received the donation from the Consul General of Singapore to Sri Lanka, Jayantha Dharmadasa. Channa Jayasumana, State Minister of Pharmaceutical Production, Supply, and Regulation, and Secretary of the State Ministry, R.M.S.K. Rathnayake also received the donation.
