The South Asia Championship Spring tournament of 2022 PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) was held from the 19th to the 22nd of May 2022.

Ulaanbaatar, 1 June 2022 (TDI): The South Asia Championship Spring tournament of 2022 PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) was held from the 19th to the 22nd of May 2022.

16 PUBG MOBILE teams from South Asia competed in the tournament. The prize pool was USD 150,000. 4 out of the 16 teams were from Mongolia.

The 16 qualified teams in the 2022 PMPL South Asia Championship Spring contested in a series of daily matches concluding with the Grand Finals on the 22nd.

The squads were given a score in each match based on placement and total eliminations accomplished. The winners were selected based on the total scores calculated at the end of the Grand Finals.

Bayarbat Mishigdorj, the native celebrity actor joined the brigade of supporters to cheer them on. Celebrities from 3 other countries joined Bayarbat Mishidorj to make live appearances during the 2022 PMPL South Asia Championship Spring.

During their participation, the celebrities discussed and predicted who will top the leaderboards. In case of a wrong prediction, each celebrity showed off their version of popular PUBG MOBILE dances on stream.

Viewers got the chance to witness the dance skills of Bayarbat Mishigdorj along with, Bhola Record and Mathira from Pakistan, actress Shanudrie Priyasad from Sri Lanka, and actress Riyasha Dahal from Nepal.

The dance challenge happened at 8.30 pm Mongolia time on the 22nd of May 2022. It was shown live on PUBG MOBILE Esports South Asia Facebook as well as YouTube platforms.

Moreover, the PMPL South Asia Spring was held from the 29th of March to the 24th of April 2022. During the event, ‘Stalwart Esports’ from Mongolia was nominated as the champions. Athletes joined from across the region, to compete virtually from their home countries.

The top 10 qualifying teams were; Stalwart Esports, IHC Esports, as well as SEAL ESPORTS from Mongolia. While Deadeyes Guys, Trained to Kill, JyanMaara, Skylightz Gaming, DRS GAMING, and High Voltage from Nepal also qualified.

Furthermore, Phantom Esports qualified from the rest of South Asia. Meanwhile, PMPL Pakistan Spring was organized from 22 March to 17 April, crowing ’52xRage’ as the champions of Pakistan.

The Pakistani Teams competed to achieve their share of the PKR 17,600,000 prize pool along with qualifying for the 2022 PMPL South Asia Championship.

Teams qualified from Pakistan were; 52xRage Esports, R3GICIDE, SALTxi8 Esports, Team TUF, The Grounders, and Free Style.
