Bratislava, 8 October 2021 (TDI): Ivan Korcok, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia met with Sun Lijie, the Ambassador of China to Slovakia.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations. The Slovakian Foreign Minister expressed his desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. The Republic of Slovakia will also continue to cooperate with China under the framework of the European Union.
They also debated on global issues. China being one of the biggest economies of the world has a lot of roles in world affairs. China has also been investing in all the regions of the world. Slovakia also looks forward to expanding the bilateral trade with China.
In Slovakia, the interest of young people in the Chinese language is growing. The third Confucious Institute at the Matej Bel University in Banskya Bystrica is a description of the prospering cultural ties of the two states.
Slovakia aims to build close relations with the People’s Republic of China. China has also been the biggest trade partner of Slovakia in Asia. Slovakia is one of the biggest producers of cars hopes that it has the potential to attract Chinese investors in Slovakia to discover prosperous opportunities. The two countries look forward to further strengthening the bilateral ties.
