Washington D.C (TDI): Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken convened yesterday with Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer. The Secretary emphasized the necessity of repatriating all captives and concluding the conflict in Gaza.
The Secretary and Minister continued their discussions on establishing a strategy for the post-conflict period that ensures governance, security, and reconstruction, which the Secretary underscored as essential for Israel’s security.
He addressed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and emphasized that Israel must enhance its efforts to enable the distribution of humanitarian aid across Gaza.
