Rome: June 28, 2021 – (TDI): The Secretary of the United States of America, Antony Blinken along with Ned Price, the spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State, visited Vatican City, including the Sistine Chapel. They had the pleasure of experiencing the heavenly atmosphere, the remarkable art, and the extraordinary architecture, there. During this visit, they met the Holy See Secretary of State Pietro Parolin and Secretary for Relations with States Archbishop Paul Gallagher.
They talked about dismantling the issue of human trafficking and enhancing religious freedom. The US is determined to assist the people of Venezuela in reconstructing their country within a democratic orientation, expressed secretary Blinken. Several global issues, including climate change, migration, and the fight against Covid-19, were also addressed in this meeting. The situation of Human Rights and Religious freedom in China was also noted. They also highlighted the need of addressing the challenging situations of Ethiopia, Lebanon, Syria, and Belarus.
