Washington D.C (TDI): Secretary Blinken conversed today met with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.
The Secretary and Foreign Minister addressed the situation in Ukraine, particularly the ramifications of Russia’s decision to deploy DPRK troops in its unprovoked conflict.
They also emphasized their mutual commitment to continue aiding Ukraine and supporting its endeavors to safeguard its freedom and attain victory.

The Secretary emphasized the necessity of a diplomatic end to the crisis in Lebanon that enables civilians on both sides of the Blue Line to return home securely.
They also addressed the necessity of concluding the conflict in Gaza, securing the release of all hostages, and augmenting humanitarian aid.
