New York: June 29, 2021- (TDI): The second UN high-level conference of heads of counter-terrorism agencies has been started off from June 28, 2021. It will be a three-day-long conference from 28 – 30 JUNE, 2021 in which the member states of the UN will participate. This conference is in continuation of the counter-terrorism week at the United Nations.
UN Chief Antonio Guterres warned that terrorist attacks continue to persist and diversify and so there is a need to tackle this global issue and threat of terrorism. The state of Qatar condemned terrorism in all its forms at this conference and will continue to work as an international partner in its fight against terrorism. Al Thani said this in a speech at the second United Nations High-level conference.
