Kabul, 17 July 2023 (TDI): The 2nd Imam Abu Hanifa Exhibition has got underway in Kabul. More than 25 key Pakistani manufacturers are attending this exhibition under the supervision of the chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Muhammad Zubair Motiwala.

“Imam Abu Hanifa 2nd National and International Expo and Trade Fair” will continue from 16 to 22 July 2023 at the International Exhibition Center of Afghanistan.

This event is organized by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) with the assistance of governmental and non-governmental bodies.

The Chief Executive of the TDAP addressed the opening ceremony of the exhibition on July 16. He said that Pakistan is one of the biggest trade markets in Afghanistan.

Moreover, he stated that Pakistan places the highest value on facilitating trade with Afghanistan.

The TDA Chief Executive appreciated the Afghan government for offering Pakistani exhibitors a beneficial opportunity, which will further strengthen business relationships between the two close neighbours.

He encouraged traders and businessmen to embrace the prospects that this exhibition offers on both sides. As Pakistan and Afghanistan face the same economic crisis, mutual cooperation and bilateral trade can help counter this difficult situation.

Furthermore, he said Pakistan always encourages such innovative measures that can create an optimal environment for the region’s business communities.

A way forward to Economic Stability

This expo’s main objective is to draw together local, national, and international business groups in order to advance commerce and economic activities.

The Afghan government exhorts to create a favourable environment for domestic and foreign manufacturers and business people to operate in Afghanistan and contribute to the growth of the national economy. This exhibition is a step in the right direction in order to achieve this goal.

Hundreds of local and international companies will display their goods and services in industries such as agriculture, manufacturing, mining, health, carpet, handicrafts, medicine, education, construction, and much more.
