Washington, 18 August 2021 (2021): Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken talked today with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, thanking him for Qatar’s help in supporting the transit of US nationals and Embassy Kabul employees through Doha. Secretary Blinken and the Foreign Minister spoke about their close cooperation on Afghanistan and other bilateral initiatives to enhance regional security.
