Belmopan, 18 August 2021 (TDI): The United States new Chargé d’Affaires to Belize, Leyla Moses-Ones meets the Belizan Foreign Minister, Eamon Courtenay on 17 August 2021. The object of the meeting was to strengthen the US-Belize relations.
Leyla Moses-Ones took charge of this office earlier this month. She has already served as an ambassador during the Obama administration. It is her first meeting with Eamon Courtenay. She highlighted the prospects of good relations between the two countries. In addition to providing support to defeat COVID-19, she also assured US support for the progress and security of Belize.
