Riyadh/Beijing, 8 December 2022 (TDI): Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stated during the Chinese president’s visit to the Kingdom on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia would continue to be a reliable and trustworthy energy partner for China.
Prince Abdulaziz claimed that cooperation between Beijing and Riyadh helped keep the oil markets stable, as Saudi Arabia is the top oil exporter in the world and China is the most significant energy user in the world.
According to Prince Abdulaziz, relations between Saudi Arabia and China are changing qualitatively due to the leaders of the two friendly states desire to advance their relations in a number of sectors.

The Minister continued, the enormous amount of commercial exchange between the two states, which has shown a consistent annual increase over the past five years, has made China the top destination for Saudi Arabia’s oil exports.
According to Prince Abdulaziz, a regional hub for Chinese factories will be established in the Kingdom to increase cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China in the energy supply chain.
Visit of Xi Jinping to Saudi Arabia
In order to attend the inaugural summit between China and Arab nations and the China-GCC summit in Riyadh, President Xi Jinping arrived in Saudi Arabia.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invited him. He will be there from December 7 through December 10th.

China’s “most significant and greatest diplomatic action” with Arab nations, according to Beijing, is Xi’s visit.
The Chinese President was delighted to be back in the Kingdom after a six-year absence and present at the first China-Arab Summit and the first China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit.
Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Xi expressed his pleasure at meeting the government and people of the friendly Kingdom on behalf of the Chinese government and people.
