Riyadh, 3 November 2021 (TDI): Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud received the Director-General of the UN Office in Vienna, Ghada Fathi Waly. She is also the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
During the meeting, they signed a memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations.
This represents an important achievement that will enable the stakeholders to achieve a shift in cooperation between the United Nations and Saudi Arabia. Likewise, it will cover aspects of crime, drugs, terrorism, and corruption.
As well, Ghada Fathi Waly announced in her Twitter account, “Very proud to meet the young women officers.
Empowered women chart the path towards the Sustainable Development Goals and societies that leave no one behind”.
