Rwandan President met with the Emir of Qatar


Doha, 03 October 2021 (TDI): On Sunday, the Emir of Qatar Sheik Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani met with the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. The meeting took place during the visit of the President of the Republic of Rwanda to Gulf nations.

The leaders of the two states discussed the bilateral relations among the states and how they can be improved in the future. Representative of both states extended their interest to increase the cooperation in the various fields of life, and economic development was the main focus of the meeting. The conference attendees also talked about remedies to enhance the trade and investment between the Republic of Rwanda and Qatar.


They also discussed multiple regional and international issues in the meeting. Various other ministers were also present in the meeting from both sides. Both Rwanda and Qatar share friendly ties and will work on economic development between the African and Middle Eastern nations.
