Abu Dhabi, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, delivered his inaugural speech at the 14th World Policy Conference, where he talked about theoretical democracy and the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy.
During the speech, the Rwandan President clearly talked about the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy and how Covid-19 has exposed the weaknesses of the world community. Along with it, the Rwandan President also talked about the inequitable distribution of Covid-19 vaccines and how the African region is still deprived of the vaccines.

Furthermore, the President also brought to light the human rights violence in African regions and urged the world community to work for better and enhanced human rights in the African region. The President of Rwanda also talked about that how the rights of ordinary people and weak political units are neglected by global elites.
Lastly, the President highlighted Rwanda’s efforts to fight Covid-19. Quoting Rwanda’s Covid-19 campaign, the President said that at least 90% of the population living in the cities of Rwanda had received at least the first dose of their Covid-19 vaccine.
The President concluded his speech with the hope that all of the demands of Africa would be fulfilled soon.
