Kigali, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Patrick Karera, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Rwanda, held high-level dialog with dialogue partners from, European Union, World Bank, United Nations Development Program, Global Green Growth Institute, KWF, United Kingdom and Sweden.
The permanent environment secretary tabled talks about environment protection, economic policies, and law-making and enforcement with all of these international partners deputed in Rwanda.

During the meeting, the major focus was laid down on the existing waste in the Republic of Rwanda and remedies to reduce and recycle the waste. Along with it, the dialogue partners also talked about the circular economic policies of Rwanda and how they can benefit the government and the people of the Republic of Rwanda.
Lastly, the attendees discussed strategies and plans for environment projection and the hurdles faced throughout this process.
