Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs met Finnish Environment Minister

Helsinki, 6 October 2021 (TDI): Vincent Biruta, the Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation arrived on a two-day official visit in Finland, where the Rwandan Foreign Minister met Krista Mikkonen, the Finnish Minister of Environment and Climate Change.

During the meeting, cooperation on various fronts between Rwanda and Finland was discussed.

 

The primary aim of the meeting was to discuss cooperation in circular economy and how the Republic of Rwanda and Finland can enhance their ties in trade, economy, and educational development. 

Along with it, the Ministers of both nations discussed the upcoming Conference of Parties 26, where global leaders will gather to discuss climate change and how the world community can work for environmental protection and preservation.
