Kigali, 29 September 2021 (TDI): Vincent Biruta, the Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, officially opened the Zimbabwe-Rwanda trade conference in the presence of the Zimbabwean delegation led by Frederick Musiiwa Makamure Shava, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Trade.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation of Rwanda signed five Memorandum of Understandings with the Foreign Minister of Zimbabwe to enhance bilateral cooperation and peaceful growth.
The Memorandum of Understandings was signed in the field of tourism, agriculture, information, and communication technology (ICT), and the environment. Both of the ministers agreed on terms to work for agricultural support for each other, promoting tourism and working for a sustainable environment.
The trade conference will pave the way for better relations between the Republic of Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
