New York, 24 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov met several senior officials of other states on the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Russian Foreign Minister started his official tour by meeting with the President of 76th UNGA, Abdulla Shahid. Both leaders briefly discussed the priorities under the Presidency of hope.
Next, the Russian leader held a meeting with the Slovakian counterpart, Ivan Korcok.
On the sidelines of the 76th UNGA session, both parties shed light on the multilateral contribution towards international affairs.
On the second day, Sergey Lavrov met with the Bolivian President, Lucho Arce.
The meeting addressed important topics like climate crisis and equality.
They said living well should mean access to education, health, food, work, and holistic development.
Lastly, the Russian leader held a meeting with the Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad. Both sides discussed their roles in the 76th session of UNGA.
