Islamabad (TDI): The Russian Embassy in Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
In a statement issued by the embassy, it expressed its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the martyred policeman and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured law enforcement personnel.
The condemnation comes a day after a policeman was martyred while three others were injured when their vehicle, part of a convoy escorting dignitaries from 12 countries, was hit by an IED blast placed on a roadside on Malam Jabba Road in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district.

The FO spokesperson said that on their way back, a vehicle of the advance scout police vehicle was hit by an IED which resulted in a casualty of the police detail.
