Russian and Mongolian counterparts meet in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, 21 October 2021 (TDI): The Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Mongolia, S. Odontuya held a meeting with her counterpart, the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, A.V. Gordeev.

The agenda of the meeting encompassed the bilateral ties. Mongolia and Russia are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. The two sides emphasized the significance of launching a new mechanism for bilateral inter-parliamentary collaboration. Views were also exchanged on the intensification of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Furthermore, the development of cooperation in the fields of education, science, and humanity was also discussed.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Russian Federation, D.Davaa, the Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on International Affairs L.E. Slutsky, and other personnel.
