Islamabad, 15 February 2023 (TDI): Danila Ganich, the Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, met with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, the Minister for Economic Affairs extended a cordial welcome to the Russian Ambassador. He emphasised Pakistan and Russia’s bilateral, economic, and historical ties.
According to him, both parties have always had excellent bilateral relations built on mutual respect, trust, and interest.
The progress made during the IGC was appreciated by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, who also stated that these agreements are in the best interests of both nations.
Additionally, it was mentioned that once these agreements were completed and put into effect, the cost of oil and gas in the nation would drop significantly.

Ambassador Danila Ganich thanked the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and the Government of Pakistan for their assistance in hosting the Russian delegation during the IGC.
He also shared that Russia aims to maximize the potential for trade already existing between the two nations. In order to achieve a significant comparative advantage, both sides expressed their gratitude to one another.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding advanced collaborations between Pakistan and Russia for the benefit of economies, cultural exchange, and mutual aid.
