Beijing, 26 December 2021 (TDI): China is celebrating the 128th Birth Anniversary of Mao Zedong, the founder of the People’s Republic of China. Mao was a knowledgeable revolutionary leader who dedicated his life to the revitalization of China and is highly revered as well as remembered.

The late CPC leader Mao Zedong led the Chinese people to historically change their destiny. Many Chinese officials as well as other people took to Twitter to commemorate the day. Li Junhua, the Chinese Ambassador to Italy marked the day by sharing a quote of the revolutionary leader on Twitter.

Chinese Consul General in Durban, South Africa also paid homage to the great Chinese leader by tweeting on the official Twitter account.

Zhang Zhisheng, the Consul General of China in Zanzibar, Tanzania also shared a set of pictures and a video to honor the Chinese leader. Chairman Mao is remembered as a venerated leader of the people.

China’s Cultural Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, Zhang Heqing shared a video to remember the revolutionary leader.

Commemorating Mao Zedong, Cao Yi, Consul at the Embassy of China in Lebanon shared China’s achievements under Mao’s leadership, in a tweet. He tweeted that China, under the leadership of Mao Zedong overthrew the rule of imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucratic capitalism along with establishing the basic socialist system.

Mao Zedong: The Great Revolutionary Leader

Mao Zedong was born on 26th December in 1893, in Shaoshan, Hunan province of China. He was a principal Chinese Marxist theorist, a soldier, and a statesman who led his country’s communist revolution.

In addition, Mao was the leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1935 till the time of his death. He was also the Chairman of China from 1949 to 1959. While he also remained as Chairman of the party until his death.

Mao Zedong has a significant place in the history and development of China. Under his guidance and direction, China emerged as a country fast on a path of economic development and social change.
