Qatar participates in the virtual meeting on Afghan Peace Process


Kabul: 3 August 2021- (TDI): The State of Qatar participated in a virtual meeting on strengthening consensus for the Afghan Peace Process. It was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The state of Qatar was represented by the Acting Charge d’Affairs of the embassy of Qatar in Afghanistan Fahad Ali Al Sulaiti.

The matters under discussion during this meeting were strengthening the peace process in Afghanistan and the provision of humanitarian assistance.

Qatar has always supported the solution of the Afghan conflict and bringing peace and stability to the region. It continues supporting the Afghan peace talks as well.
