Doha, 4 October 2021 (TDI): Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani. The Foreign Officer is visiting the State of Qatar as a part of Iranian diplomatic meetings for reviewing foreign relations with Arab countries.
In this opportunity, both representatives discussed the bilateral cooperation between Iran and Qatar, taking into account the latest developments in the Middle East. Furthermore, they explored the options to strengthen its ties on the basis of mutual benefits towards building peace and sustainability in the region. The Afghan issue is a common interest for both parties.
