Qatar and International Peace Institute sign Partnership Agreement

New York, 14 September 2021 (TDI): Ambassador Alya bint Ahmed Al Thani, Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations on behalf of the State of Qatar signed a partnership agreement. However, Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al Hussein, President, and CEO of IPI signed the agreement on behalf of the International Peace Institute.

They signed an agreement in New York at the headquarters of the permanent mission of Qatar to the UN. International Peace Institute is a non-profit independent think tank and lobby group. The main objective of IPI is to maintain stability throughout the world by resolving conflicts among states through various security institutions.

IPI promotes international responses to various issues through the tools of policy development, research, and analysis. It has its activities going on in Europe, Central Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
