Kabul, 14 September 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, the newly-appointed Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi had a meeting with the Chinese envoy to Kabul, Wang Yu.
The Chinese envoy congratulated Afghanistan’s new administration. He stated that China will continue to expand and strengthen humanitarian, economic, and diplomatic ties with Afghanistan. China has come forward to express its support and solidarity. The meeting aimed to establish peaceful dialogue and productive diplomacy between the two states.
Wang Yu also pledged to provide emergency aid worth $15 million and $3 million corona vaccines. The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to China for its assistance. He added that the development of bilateral relations is in the interests of both countries.
