Abu Dhabi, 13 January 2023 (TDI): A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif.

Besides that, the Prime Minister also met with Pakistani businessmen and Emirati investors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It is pertinent to note that Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, also met with the Prime Minister who is visiting UAE for two days.

Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif also met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai.

He was welcomed in Dubai by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who also wished him well for Pakistan’s future growth and development. He also expressed gratitude for the delegation’s warm welcome.

Pakistan-UAE ties

Pakistan and the UAE have close fraternal ties dating back to the UAE’s inception in 1971 and have since evolved into broad-based cooperation in a variety of fields.

Pakistan was the first country to recognize the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE remains a major source of economic and financial assistance to Pakistan.

The UAE acknowledges Pakistan’s contribution to the evolution of key institutions in the UAE, & Pakistan acknowledges the UAE’s investment in Pakistan’s economy and infrastructure.
