President Xi congratulates Claudia on election as Mexico’s President

Beijing, 5 June 2024 (TDI): On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping extended his congratulations to Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo on her successful election to the position of President of Mexico.

Pardo is currently serving in this capacity as the president of Mexico. As President Xi congratulates Claudia Sheinbaum the relations between China and Mexico seem to be further enhanced.

President Xi Jinping, who emphasized that China and Mexico are complete strategic allies, brought to light Mexico’s position as an important nation in Latin America and a crucial rising market.

He also emphasized that China and Mexico are complete strategic allies. Additionally, he took into consideration the fact that Mexico is a significant market that is on the rise.

According to Xi, the relationship between China and Mexico has been steadily growing, and as a consequence, it is becoming increasingly strategic, complementary, and profitable for both nations.

In addition to this, Xi stated that the relationship has shown signs of improvement over the years. At this moment, the collaboration is in a vital phase in which it is consolidating its gains and making additional developments.

President Xi Jinping underlined the necessity of expanding China-Mexico relations and emphasized his readiness to enhance strategic interaction with the president-elect to achieve the aims of improving bilateral relationships and maximizing mutual advantages.

Sheinbaum will be inaugurated on October 1 and will serve a six-year term, according to media reports. Observers note that as Mexico’s first female president, Sheinbaum’s primary task will be to unite the government to ensure she represents the interests of all Mexicans, not just her supporters.
