New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): Andry Rajoelina, the President of the Republic of Madagascar, met with Antonio Guterres, the incumbent Secretary-General of the United Nations, where he acknowledged the Support of the United Nations and the entire world towards the people of Madagascar during the Pandemic era.
In his meeting with the Secretary-General of UNO, the President of Madagascar discussed and committed to work with the United Nations Organization on three primary issues faced by the people of Madagascar.
First, the United Nations and the Government of Madagascar will work for the betterment and empowerment of the youth of the Republic of Madagascar.
Second, both parties will work for and fight against Climate Change that has become a global menace and a threat to African nations.
Lastly, the UNSG and the President of Madagascar agreed to mobilize against hunger.
The meeting proved successful, with both parties agreeing to work for the betterment of the people of Madagascar.
