President Ghani says remobilization of armed forces “Top Priority”

Kabul, 14 August 2021 (TDI): Afghan President Ghani says ‘remobilization of armed forces top priority. As the Taliban are reportedly 50 Kilometer away from Kabul, President Ashraf Ghani in his televised speech said.

In a sobering moment, while the country is plunging into a deep civil war after the end of US presence in Afghanistan, President Ghani said that as a historic mission, he will not let the war imposed on the people that can cause more death.

President Ghani said that he has started “extensive consultantation” with the elders, political leaders, representatives of people, and international partners for achieving the political solution to the Afghanistan crisis.

As the country’s cities and provinces are falling to the Taliban’s hands like autumn leaves, the armed forces of Afghanistan failed to defend and could not offer any resistance against the tyrants. President Ghani continued to praise his armed forces till.

Embassies begin to close their operations or limiting their staff presence apart from evacuating most of them through airlifts.
