Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, called for an “early establishment” of Pakistan-Germany Chamber of Commerce in Karachi, during a meeting with the German Ambassador in the country, Ina Lepel.
The President remarked that the joint chamber of commerce will improve trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, while he also appreciated the existing German investments in Pakistan.
Ambassador Lepel, writing about her meeting with the President on the social app X, said “We discussed questions of mutual interest, including cooperation potential in the fields of Agriculture and Skilled Labor mobility.”

In addition to the chamber of commerce initiative, the President also was keen about the finalization of Pakistan-Germany Climate Partnership Agreement which, he believed, is a natural next step forward because both countries share common goals when it comes to global climate challenges.
