Islamabad, 8 September 2021 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan chaired the 25th National Command Authority meeting at Strategic Plans Division Headquarters. In the meeting, DG ISPR, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI, Faiz Hameed, General Nadeem Raza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Admiral Zafar Mahmood, CNS were present.
During the NSA meeting, a discussion was held about Pakistan being a responsible nuclear state. It will continue to work for global efforts in order to improve nuclear security and other nuclear-proliferation measures. The briefing about emerging conflict dynamics in the region was also given during the meeting.
National Command Authority appreciated the high standards of training sessions and operative measures of strategic forces. It also lauded the contributions that helped Pakistan to successfully achieve its desired objectives.
NCA has also expressed full commitments in ensuring comprehensive security regarding the strategic assets of Pakistan.
