Nur-Sultan, 5 October 2021 (TDI): The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephonic conversation with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday. He wished him further success in State activities for the welfare of fraternal Tajikistan. The Head of State highlighted the enormous personal contribution of Emomali Rahmon. It has strengthened the Kazakh-Tajik relations of friendship, trust, and strategic partnership.
The Presidents also discussed the prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation. They discussed wide issues. They agreed that there is enormous potential to strengthen cooperation in trade, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his active and fruitful work during the CSTO and SCO summits held in Dushanbe. The parties agreed to maintain an active political dialogue at the highest level. They also discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings within the framework of international organizations.
