Moscow, 15 September 2021 (TDI): Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia held a telephonic call with Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran.
The primary topic of discussion includes matters within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Iran will be attending the summit as an observer. Both parties reaffirmed to strengthen existing bilateral relations between Iran and Russia. Moreover, discussed to elevate relations in areas of mutual interest I.e. trade, economy, post-covid developments, and tourism.
Both sides also touched upon the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear programme. Also, to continue mutual contacts between Moscow-Tehran at all levels.
