Govt to Partially Suspend Mobile، Internet Ahead of PTI Long March

ISLAMABAD, (TDI): The government has decided to partially suspend internet and mobile services ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party’s long march to Islamabad.

According to sources in the Ministry of Interior, internet and mobile services may be disrupted in various districts across Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab. Starting November 22, a firewall will be activated on mobile internet services, which will slow down internet speeds.

The Ministry sources also indicated that downloading videos and audio via social media apps will be restricted, and there is a possibility that internet and mobile services could be fully suspended in specific areas as the situation unfolds.
