Paris to host 2024 Summer Olympics

Paris, 29 July 2022 (TDI): Paris will host the 2024 Summer Olympics and the Paralympic Games. The event will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024, in Paris and other cities in France.

With the slogan “Open the Game wide”, France wants to open up this international festival to as many people as possible.

As a result, to open the games wide is to make them a popular event, accessible to all.  The French President convened a meeting of an “Olympic and Paralympic Council” on Monday, July 25, two years almost to the day from the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (July 26 to August 11).

In addition, he met with Thomas Bach, Chairman of the International Olympics Committee. The two leaders discussed the preparations for the Olympics in 2024.

In light of this, the two leaders also discussed the opening ceremony of the Olympics along the Seine River. The IOC chairman also thanked President Macron for his commitment to the success of the event.
