Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister meets his Tunisian Counterpart

New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Riyad al-Maliki, met with his Tunisian counterpart, Othman Jerandi. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in New York.

Both the counterparts discussed the situation of Palestine and its right to freedom from the unlawful occupation of Israel. The Tunisian Foreign Minister on the behalf of his country offered support for the Palestinian cause. It is the legitimate right of Palestine to have an independent and autonomous state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. He further reiterated that Tunisia will support Palestine in all political and geographical spheres, internationally as well as regionally.

The counterparts are in New York to attend the 76th session of the UN general assembly. Dignitaries from both countries participated in the meeting.
