Ramallah, 21 March 2024 (TDI): The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has denounced persistent Israeli aggression against the Gaza population and racist colonialism-driven displacements of the Palestinians.
The Ministry believes that the displacement of Bedouin communities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) is an echo of Bezalel Smotrich (Israeli Finance Minister) and Itamar Ben-Gvir (National Security Minister’s) racist colonial incitements.
The rate of colonialist attacks in the occupied West Bank has increased noticeably and unprecedentedly as per the specialized and credible reports received by the Ministry.
The Ministry understands that Smotrich and Ben Gvir took advantage of the Israeli government’s need for survival and legitimacy.
Therefore, they have imposed their racist colonial agenda on it, thereby, taking advantage of the global preoccupation with the war of extermination in Gaza and inciting the appropriation and practical annexation of the West Bank.
The Ministry has outlined its persistent efforts in this regard, including building dozens of random outposts.

Moreover, they have delved into confiscating lands and expelling Palestinians from their ancestral lands, especially in areas classified as C, including Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley.
Perhaps, the most prominent targets centered on expelling Bedouin communities or forcefully evacuating them, and uprooting them from their pastures then to be occupied by herds of extremist settlers as happened today in the Al-Marajat area.
Israeli Rejection of Existence of Palestinian State
The Ministry has vehemently stressed that the racist colonialism-driven displacements and attacks are a blatant manifestation of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s words, statements, and positions through which he reiterates his rejection of and further boasts rejecting the existence of Palestinian State.
Nevertheless, the Ministry warns of the consequences of the settlers’ racist colonial practices and their repercussions on the conflict arena. This involves either killings or displacements of the Palestinian citizens and/or surrender to the occupation and its colonizers preventing a dignified future for them.
Conclusively, the Ministry laments that the Israeli refusal to establish a state for the Palestinian people is sufficient reason for the continuation of the cycle of violence, wars, and chaos and the absence of security and stability for all parties in the region.
