Pakistan’s Foreign Minister talks with his Tajik Counterpart

Dushanbe, 25 August 2021 (TDI): Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, met with Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Foreign Minister of Tajikistan. Both parties underscored the significance of continuing international engagement as a shared responsibility.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister stated that his country is willing to collaborate with Tajikistan for regional peace, stability, and connectivity. He appreciated Tajikistan’s leadership during its SCO presidency. Both parties reviewed the latest developments in Afghanistan. They agreed on a coordinated approach to Afghanistan’s developments, as well as Pakistan’s support for an inclusive political solution.
