Islamabad, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, had a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of Kenya Raychelle Omamo.
The meeting focused on the provision of basic assistance to the people of Afghanistan for a peaceful transition in the country.

During the conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan urged that the global community is required to guarantee humanitarian and economic assistance to Afghans.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya and Pakistan agreed on mutual consultation on issues of mutual interests. Pakistan and Kenya hold cordial relations and desires to further strengthen their ties through mutual economic and development cooperation.
The conversation concluded on a positive note. The foreign ministers of both countries agreed to work together for mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence.
