Lessons for Pakistan in China’s Growth and Development
“China switched to vertical development and saved their land for food development”
Imran Khan emphasized that Pakistan needs to learn urban planning from China to eradicate disparity in resource management for a rapidly growing population. About urbanization, he pointed out that cities in Pakistan are rapidly expanding.
Eventually, this expansion might lead to a food crisis and a gradual decline in green zones. Lauding China’s urban development, Imran Khan highlighted that the vertical urban development in China has saved the country’s land for food development.
Talking about his impending visit to China next week, Prime Minister Imran Khan stressed that even though it is tentative because of the Covid-19 crisis, his visit will be focused on urban planning.
