About the Eye Camp
The three-day camp, which began on Sunday, aims to give the Lango community free access to eye care. The Pakistan Association-Lira (OPGFA), with the assistance of the Overseas Pakistani Global Foundation Africa, put on this camp.
Three ophthalmologists from Pakistan, the USA, and the UK performed checkups and cataract operations. More than 1,000 persons with eye problems could benefit from the group’s services.
The health camp’s opening speaker, Dr. Aceng thanked the Pakistani Association’s contribution to the national effort to combat eye infections.
Aceng asserted that due to complimentary government initiatives, such camps are strongly promoted due to the high prevalence of eye illnesses.
