Pakistani company signed MoU at China-SCO Forum on Digital Economy Industry

Chongqing, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Pakistani company Belt and Road Consultants Pvt Ltd signed a joint memorandum of understanding for the creation of a Cross Border E-Commerce Platform during the recent China-SCO Forum on Digital Economy Industry held today at the Chongqing along with the opening of the  Smart China Expo 2021 in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality.

With the global digital economy in full swing, digital commerce has gradually become a new engine driving the growth of global trade, injecting new momentum and opening up new space for the development of world trade.   In order to continuously promote economic and trade exchanges among China, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and other countries, promote industrial upgrading and diversify market development methods of various countries, and promote international activities through e-commerce, actively carry out extensive exchanges in the field of e-commerce personnel training, technical exchanges, resource sharing, facilities, and equipment construction and so on, e-commerce associations of all countries jointly signed this memorandum.

Along with Belt and Road Consultants Pvt Ltd led by Mr. Asif Noor from Pakistan, other companies include China International Electronic Commerce Center, China Association of Trade in Services, eCommerce Russia Association, Association of Electronic Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, The Union of transport and logistics organizations and associations «KAZLOGISTICS, International Economic Union “Silk Road of Tajikistan” , Beijing Huahe International Business Consulting Co., Ltd, B&P International Business Consulting Group, Universoft IT Co, Ltd.

Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is one of the most promising regional organizations with eight permanent member countries including China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and India. SCO region is nearly 42 percent of the world population and covers 24 percent of the world’s GDP. With huge potential and markets, SCO offers potential for growth of business and connectivity.
