Islamabad, 25 November 2021 (TDI): As a public diplomacy initiative, Diplomatic Insight Group organized the 4th Global Ambassadors Award Ceremony to acknowledge the services of Ambassadors and diplomats, heads of international organizations, businessmen for the promotion of people to people contact, business, trade, and constructive bilateral relations with their respective states and missions.
As a result of outstanding contribution towards building Pakistan’s strong trading and economic partnership with different countries of the world, on behalf of the people of Pakistan, the Diplomatic Insight Group conferred Award to Ahmad Ikram Lone, Director Lone Group and Company. While the second award was for Yasir Rafique – CEO of Prime Paper Product.
At an age where people struggle to find the right formula for success, Ahmad Lone achieved remarkably well. Along with being the young businessman from Gujranwala, Ahmad Lone has remained as the Pakistan Switzerland Business Council of FPCCI. Also, he’s the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He started his career and built prosperous businesses in the areas of Hospitality, Real Estate, Apparel, Information Technology, and Metal Recycling in Pakistan, the United States of America, Europe, and the Middle East. Marshal Trading Company (MTC) is also a subsidiary of Lone Group of Companies operating in Gujranwala.
Not to forget that he has put a lot of effort and dedication into organizing Made in Gujranwala Expo annually since 2016. For high-end manufacturing products to compete in the international market, he has been working very closely with the SME’s of Gujranwala, Wazirabad, and Sialkot for the past six years.
It must not go without saying that his trading house has been doing remarkably well to help small companies with the required financial and marketing assistance to help them reach the global market.
