Paris (TDI): Pakistan made an impressive impact at a leading food fair of Europe, SIAL Paris 2024.
As much as 34 exhibitors under Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TADP) Pavilion and 14 other exhibitors participated in diverse products from rice, corn and sesame seeds to processed food, spices, frozen food, fruit juices, candies and snacks.

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion and interacted with the participating business groups who shared their feedback and exchanged views on enhancing Pakistan’s exports in the food sector, a statement said.
Participants and visitors took keen interests in the products by Pakistani exhibitors.
TDAP develops a national policy for maximizing exports, and then develops strategies and plans to achieve that policy besides developing programs and projects for maximizing the country’s exports.

Pakistan’s exports include agricultural products like rice, maize, sesame, meat, and onion in addition to cement, surgical instruments, and others.
Now Pakistani flavors is attracting attention internationally. Pakistani culture and cuisine attracted international audiences at a similar food and culture festival held in April in China.
