Volleyball in Pakistan
In international volleyball competitions, Pakistan is represented by the men’s national volleyball team. The Pakistan Volleyball Federation was established on January 31, 1955.
After that, volleyball became popular on a national scale. In the same year, the Federation was recognized and granted membership in both the International Volleyball Federation and the Pakistan Olympic Association.
Pakistan had the honor of taking home a bronze medal from the 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta, which featured outdoor sporting events.
