Karachi, 13 September 2021 (TDI): As a part of 6.6 Million vaccine delivery from the US to Pakistan, Sindh today received 320,580 new Pfizer vaccine doses.
The US Consulate General Mark Stroh and Sindh Minister for population welfare and Health Dr. Azra Fazal welcomed the arrival of the fourth tranche containing new vaccine doses in Karachi.
This shipment brought the total number of vaccine doses gifted by the US to Pakistan via COVAX to 16 Million doses. The US embassy in Islamabad previously announced that the USA has dispatched a vaccine shipment for Pakistan that would help vaccinate young and at-risk citizens.
