Islamabad, 14 September 2021 (TDI): A delegation of Chinese companies met Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss Chinese investment in Pakistan. The high-level meeting was attended by the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Nong Rong, Federal ministers Hammad Azhar, Asad Umar, and other matters who discussed opportunities for employments for Pakistanis and other infrastructure projects.

CPEC and other infrastructure projects in Pakistan have helped increase employment rates at an exponential rate. More projects of this sort will not only cater to the joblessness arising due to pandemic but also take cooperative relationships between these two states to new heights.

Small and medium industries were also discussed to be promoted for livelihood in small areas along with the expected transformation of the tourism industry along the CPEC road.
